Myrioth's Bargain by sythiar Myrioth's Bargain by sythiar
I'm not quite sure about the story behind this. One thing is clear though: the character called Myrïoth, depicted here, is of the same people as Sythiar. He is not related to her in any way though, nor do they know too much about each other.
There are even only very few things I know about him:

_____________________________

Myr´oth is of noble birth. He may even be a prince.

One day he is forced to strike a bargain with the ill fathomed Being of the Dark Cleft, giving it his heart in return for a Chance. What you need to know about Chances is, that they act in some fashion like wishes - but only in some fashion. If the one who bears a Chance in his chest releases it, they will forfeit their ownership to their own body and will be under the control of the Higher Powers for a time until finally they will give away their life, as soon as the power leaves them - as the Chance itself had been the only thing that had kept them alive as a feeble substitute for their abandoned heart.

Why Myr´oth would be foolish enough to strike such a bargain, I don't know. But one thing is certain: he was desperate and the Chance, when it was finally released spelled doom on many. So, later, in the time when Sythiar was born, Myrïoth was only known as: Myr´oth Hailspell.

But that was long before Sythiar's time, a few hundred years at least. An old story.

This drawing is the second one which features someone tearing his heart out. Unlike the first however, it's not personal and means nothing, really. So for those people who know me: calm down. I'm not depressed or anything of the sort and I'm not on an angst trip or plan on killing myself either.
I just enjoy drawing violent things. So there.

Haha... thanks. :) I admit, with all those lines it's probably not easy.

I think, he has a little bit complex frame?
I'm impressed always with that you can draw such a complex structure.

What really impresses me about this piece is the fact that despite its all black and white and a very close-quartered, detailed piece, you can still make out the details. You don't have to strain to see what things are, and everything stands out as it should. Beautiful :)
